Through Project Horizon, IU is laying the foundation for modern, efficient financial systems. Collaboration among committees, teams, and advisory groups ensures priorities are achieved and the benefits reach all faculty and staff.
Consulting Partner
PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) was selected as IU’s consulting partner for this project. PwC will administer an activity analysis survey to employees who perform financial tasks. This activity analysis will allow PwC to create a comprehensive inventory of work and benchmark IU’s organizational structures and processes against peer institutions.
IU will use this information to inform future organizational design and prepare faculty and staff for potential future systems, including a modern ERP.
PwC will also release a Voice of the Customer survey to gather feedback from leaders current state of the Finance organization.
Steering Committee
A steering committee establishes priorities for the project and ensures it moves in the right direction. For Project Horizon, this committee is comprised of campus, finance, and technology leaders from across IU.
